Discovery Middle School students packed the gym Wednesday, March 25, for an all-school pep rally in celebration of their recent fundraising efforts.

Throughout the month, students were tasked with raising money for the school’s video entry in the P-H-M Education Foundation’s “No Place Like Home” video contest. Leading up to the event, students contributed funds to “unlock” different activities they wanted to see at the rally. Students surpassed their goal and raised enough funds to “unlock” all of the events. This included staff musical performances, staff members (including the security team) getting pied in the face by students, and a free-throw contest between students and staff.

Additional highlights include a teacher receiving a “fashionable” haircut from a student and a Blue Man Group-style performance featuring four Discovery teachers.
