Congratulations to DMS MathCounts Team!

MathCounts students that competed at the Chapter competition:  Zichu Wang, Derick Shi, Felix Zhang, Raymond Luo, Janet Yu, Maddie Zavada,  Carl Xu,  Jayden Wang, Shahmeer Turk, and Allison Yu. Alternates were Michelle Yang and Stanley Liew.  

Team portion of the competition included: Derick Shi, Felix Zhang, Raymond Luo, Zichu Wang
Highlights:

7 students made it to top 12 individual and are moving on to state: Zichu Wang (3rd overall), Derick Shi (4th overall), Felix Zhang, Raymond Luo, Janet Yu, Maddie Zavada, Carl Xu
More students may make it to state once the cut scores come out!

The team won first place and is moving on to state: Derick Shi, Felix Zhang, Raymond Luo, Zichu Wang

Felix Zhang won 3rd in the countdown round.
